<p>邁阿密大學數(shù)據(jù)科學項目隸屬于DS科研所（Miami Institute for Data Science and Computing (iDSC)），項目時長 1-2年，修滿30個學分（每學期修9-12個學分）。項目通過跟各個學院合作提供了不同的concentrations，既有hardcore的Technical Data Science（ML,BDT之類的,課程由cs，math，engineering等學院/系提供），還有各個practical應用領域（smart cities，Marine and Atmospheric Sciences，Educational Measurement and Statistics，marketing等）。課程中會涉及的programming主要是R和python，選修課可能會涉及一些java和c++。還值得一提的是：項目小班化授課，大多數(shù)課10-15人。</p><p>
得益于邁阿密大學的industrial connections 以及自己的DS科研所，可以為學生提供可供研究的數(shù)據(jù)及具有競爭力的實習和工作機會。</p><p>
錄取方面：轉專業(yè)友好（students from any academic discipline are invited）；先修課：線代，統(tǒng)計概率論，programming；不需要GRE.</p>
