</span> </span> <span class="card-operate active"> <span class="edit"> &nbsp; </span> <span class="content"> &nbsp; </span> </span> </span></strong></div> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>留學(xué)對(duì)許多人來(lái)說(shuō)是一場(chǎng)關(guān)乎夢(mèng)想和成長(zhǎng)的旅程。無(wú)論是為了追求更高的學(xué)術(shù)成就，還是為了開(kāi)闊眼界，走向更廣闊的世界，每個(gè)人的申請(qǐng)之路都充滿(mǎn)了努力、掙扎和收獲。我也不例外。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>時(shí)過(guò)境遷，新的一年考研也已結(jié)束。<strong><span style="color: #0086d1;">二戰(zhàn)太累、gap太虧、工作難找......</span></strong>去年的我直到出分才思考留學(xué)這條路，而現(xiàn)在我已在利茲度過(guò)了我充實(shí)、特別的第一學(xué)期。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><span style="color: #0086d1;">原來(lái)，留學(xué)真的能給人托底！</span></strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>回首這段旅程，我希望通過(guò)分享我的申請(qǐng)經(jīng)驗(yàn)，能為即將踏上這條路的學(xué)弟學(xué)妹們提供些許幫助。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h1><strong>&ldquo;兜兜轉(zhuǎn)轉(zhuǎn)還是去留學(xué)了&rdquo;</strong></h1> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>回顧我的申請(qǐng)旅程，一切都始于考研失利。大四我著手準(zhǔn)備考研，信心滿(mǎn)滿(mǎn)但是競(jìng)爭(zhēng)激烈，由于自己過(guò)度自信加上今年的數(shù)學(xué)試題偏難，我在數(shù)學(xué)這科上遭遇了滑鐵盧。然而在考完試后成績(jī)出來(lái)前，我對(duì)自己仍然十分自信，<strong><span style="color: #0086d1;">最后結(jié)果出來(lái)，差了復(fù)試線(xiàn)15分。</span></strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>知道成績(jī)的那一刻我瞬間迷茫了，我和父母當(dāng)天就二戰(zhàn)、留學(xué)以及直接工作產(chǎn)生了激烈的爭(zhēng)執(zhí)。我當(dāng)時(shí)的自信心直接坍塌，不想再二戰(zhàn)，害怕如果再失敗，又是浪費(fèi)一年的時(shí)間。我父母也不想讓我直接去工作，他們對(duì)當(dāng)下的就業(yè)狀況比較了解，如果只是一個(gè)普通雙一流學(xué)校的本科文憑，根本找不到好工作。最終協(xié)商下來(lái)，留學(xué)似乎是當(dāng)下的最優(yōu)選。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><img style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" src="https://info.compassedu.hk/info_imgUrl_phpBvVTLK.jpg" alt="" width="598" height="274" /></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>其實(shí)早在我高考完，父母就有提出留學(xué)的建議，因?yàn)樗麄兩磉呌泻芏嗯笥训暮⒆?，都選擇了留學(xué)這條路，并且在回國(guó)后都找到了心儀的工作，有著不錯(cuò)的前景。但是當(dāng)時(shí)我拒絕了他們的建議。主要是因?yàn)楫?dāng)時(shí)還小，對(duì)于一個(gè)人去國(guó)外上學(xué)有點(diǎn)恐懼，其次我當(dāng)時(shí)的高考成績(jī)也不是很優(yōu)秀，我個(gè)人覺(jué)得能考上一個(gè)雙一流學(xué)校已經(jīng)不錯(cuò)了。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>現(xiàn)在大學(xué)四年過(guò)去，<strong><span style="color: #0086d1;">我適應(yīng)了一個(gè)人在外地生活，對(duì)自己也有了更清晰的認(rèn)知，</span></strong>也接受了出國(guó)留學(xué)。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h1><strong>&ldquo;冷門(mén)專(zhuān)業(yè)，更好沖刺&rdquo;</strong></h1> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><span style="color: #0086d1;">確定了留學(xué)時(shí)已經(jīng)是3月初，時(shí)間太晚。</span></strong>我了解到英國(guó)可以不帶雅思成績(jī)申請(qǐng)，而且英國(guó)學(xué)制短，只有一年，具有性?xún)r(jià)比。于是我們就打算趕緊找到留學(xué)中介開(kāi)始申請(qǐng)。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>我父母和我也是在成都和南京分別找了很多留學(xué)機(jī)構(gòu)橫向比對(duì)。父親的朋友在知道我打算出國(guó)的事情后，給我們推薦了指南者。我們?nèi)ゾ€(xiàn)下咨詢(xún)時(shí)見(jiàn)到了指南者專(zhuān)業(yè)的錄取數(shù)據(jù)庫(kù)和經(jīng)驗(yàn)豐富的申請(qǐng)老師，最終決定找指南者幫忙申請(qǐng)。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>申請(qǐng)學(xué)校的選擇無(wú)疑是最關(guān)鍵的環(huán)節(jié)之一。由于我的留學(xué)申請(qǐng)是臨時(shí)起意，<strong><span style="color: #0086d1;">本科前三年沒(méi)有為留學(xué)準(zhǔn)備較高的績(jī)點(diǎn)和豐富的實(shí)習(xí)，因此我就選擇申請(qǐng)與自己本科學(xué)的重合度高的項(xiàng)目，</span></strong>這樣專(zhuān)業(yè)重合度高，申請(qǐng)起來(lái)也更加容易。再加上我的的學(xué)科本來(lái)就比較冷門(mén)，指南者的老師也建議我沖刺一下較好的學(xué)校，如愛(ài)丁堡大學(xué)。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><img style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" src="https://info.compassedu.hk/info_imgUrl_phppzEavf.jpg" alt="" width="417" height="459" /></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>最終申請(qǐng)方案定下來(lái)：主申<strong><span style="color: #0086d1;">利茲大學(xué)、格拉斯哥大學(xué)</span></strong>等qs排名50-100的學(xué)校，沖刺愛(ài)丁堡大學(xué)。我在申請(qǐng)時(shí)除去沖刺的愛(ài)丁堡，其實(shí)最想去的就是利茲大學(xué)。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>我上了每個(gè)學(xué)校的官網(wǎng)，研究了它們的課程結(jié)構(gòu)，格拉斯哥和南安普頓都有點(diǎn)偏向環(huán)境方向，利茲偏人文一點(diǎn)。此外利茲大學(xué)有很多編程課，我在本科學(xué)習(xí)中編程是我的薄弱項(xiàng)，<strong><span style="color: #0086d1;">而且GIS的就業(yè)也是編程方向的前景好一些。</span></strong>我想利茲大學(xué)的課程會(huì)讓我學(xué)到更豐富的東西。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h1><strong>&ldquo;去香港考雅思，玄學(xué)！&rdquo;</strong></h1> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>語(yǔ)言是申請(qǐng)留學(xué)的一塊&ldquo;硬門(mén)檻&rdquo;，我申請(qǐng)的學(xué)校雅思基本都要6.5（5.5），其中愛(ài)丁堡大學(xué)要7（6）。我在決定留學(xué)之后立馬就開(kāi)始學(xué)起了雅思，考慮到我的英語(yǔ)成績(jī)還不錯(cuò)，我就報(bào)了一個(gè)學(xué)雅思的大班，一個(gè)班6個(gè)人，從三月中旬開(kāi)始連著15天每天都上課，聽(tīng)力、閱讀、寫(xiě)作、口語(yǔ)平均分配課時(shí)。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>我報(bào)名選擇的是機(jī)考，因?yàn)闄C(jī)考場(chǎng)次多，出分快，<strong><span style="color: #0086d1;">就算沒(méi)考過(guò)我也能迅速找到自己的弱項(xiàng)進(jìn)行針對(duì)性的查漏補(bǔ)缺，</span></strong>快速轉(zhuǎn)戰(zhàn)下一次的考試。學(xué)完后第一次考試我的結(jié)果不盡人意，寫(xiě)作和口語(yǔ)都只有5.5分。之后半個(gè)月我打算專(zhuān)門(mén)針對(duì)這兩科系統(tǒng)學(xué)習(xí)一下再去考一次，結(jié)果第二次考試寫(xiě)作提到了6.5，但是口語(yǔ)還是只有5.5。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><img style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" src="https://info.compassedu.hk/info_imgUrl_phpFpNyuE.jpg" alt="" width="564" height="478" /></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>由于我還是很想沖刺愛(ài)丁堡，但是績(jī)點(diǎn)已經(jīng)變不了，我就想沖刺雅思高分來(lái)提高下成功率，而當(dāng)時(shí)第二次考完雅思是4月底，離愛(ài)丁堡的審理日期只剩一個(gè)月左右（5月底），可是我的口語(yǔ)卻始終是5.5。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>父母也是咨詢(xún)了很多中介、老師問(wèn)怎么快速提高雅思分?jǐn)?shù)，有人給到去香港考試的建議。因?yàn)槲业目偡謫?wèn)題不大，主要口語(yǔ)小分過(guò)不了，而香港口語(yǔ)相較大陸給分會(huì)高一點(diǎn)。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><span style="color: #0086d1;">于是我毅然決然報(bào)名了5月底去香港考雅思的考團(tuán)，</span></strong>同時(shí)又找了個(gè)老師專(zhuān)門(mén)訓(xùn)練口語(yǔ)，5月中再在大陸考一次。老師帶我把口語(yǔ)題庫(kù)全部串了一遍，月中去考試時(shí)我覺(jué)得發(fā)揮的不錯(cuò)，可是口語(yǔ)卻又是5.5分。最后在審理日期前提交給愛(ài)丁堡合格雅思成績(jī)的機(jī)會(huì)就只有月底去香港考的這一次了。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><img style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" src="https://info.compassedu.hk/info_imgUrl_php0UMJZl.jpg" alt="" /></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>去香港考試我仍然選擇的是機(jī)考，考試的試題以及機(jī)考的系統(tǒng)幾乎和大陸沒(méi)有區(qū)別。但是在考口語(yǔ)時(shí)，不知道是網(wǎng)絡(luò)還是其它什么原因，有一段時(shí)間根本聽(tīng)不到考官的問(wèn)題，畫(huà)面也卡住了，給我整的有些慌亂，重連回來(lái)之后我也沒(méi)有了先前的節(jié)奏，說(shuō)的有些亂。走出考場(chǎng)我心里很是失望，感覺(jué)口語(yǔ)又到不了6分了。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>兩天后的大清早，我收到了查看雅思成績(jī)的郵件。我登錄網(wǎng)址合著雙手祈禱口語(yǔ)能到6分，結(jié)果一看，不止口語(yǔ)得了6分，聽(tīng)力和閱讀都取得了8.5分的好成績(jī)，<strong><span style="color: #0086d1;">最后總分到了7.5分。</span></strong>我開(kāi)心壞了，立馬把成績(jī)單發(fā)給了老師幫我補(bǔ)交給愛(ài)丁堡。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><img style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" src="https://info.compassedu.hk/info_imgUrl_phpJCGiwo.jpg" alt="" width="472" height="431" /></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><span style="color: #0086d1;">香港雅思似乎真的有魔力，</span></strong>從3月到5月我一共考了4次雅思，除了口語(yǔ)每一科目都或多或少有些變動(dòng)，唯獨(dú)口語(yǔ)每次都是5.5，但是到香港考一次，在我個(gè)人感覺(jué)發(fā)揮不好的情況下都能拿到6分。強(qiáng)烈建議各位雅思口語(yǔ)萬(wàn)年5.5到香港去試試。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h1><strong>&ldquo;匱乏卻能拼湊的經(jīng)歷&rdquo;</strong></h1> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>申請(qǐng)我其實(shí)很害怕最后收不到好的offer，<strong><span style="color: #0086d1;">因?yàn)槲业谋尘疤胀耍?lt;/span></strong>我本科四年其實(shí)沒(méi)有任何實(shí)習(xí)和科研經(jīng)歷。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>但是我參加了兩次學(xué)校培養(yǎng)計(jì)劃內(nèi)的校內(nèi)實(shí)習(xí)。第一次是去到峨眉山，我的學(xué)校在那里有一個(gè)實(shí)習(xí)基地，主要是進(jìn)行地質(zhì)方面的工作，最終也是寫(xiě)了一篇小文章來(lái)展示學(xué)習(xí)成果。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><img style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" src="https://info.compassedu.hk/info_imgUrl_phpJSHNHb.jpg" alt="" width="333" height="444" /></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>第二次是去江油市馬角鎮(zhèn)，在那里進(jìn)行了一系列從外業(yè)收集數(shù)據(jù)到內(nèi)業(yè)處理數(shù)據(jù)的工作，還學(xué)習(xí)了飛行無(wú)人機(jī)，最終寫(xiě)了一篇論文形式的文章，對(duì)馬角鎮(zhèn)的生態(tài)、生產(chǎn)、生活空間進(jìn)行綜合評(píng)價(jià)。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>此外有許多課的最終考核也都是寫(xiě)一篇論文格式的文章，包括畢業(yè)論文。申請(qǐng)老師告訴我這些其實(shí)都能當(dāng)作實(shí)習(xí)和科研經(jīng)歷，這些文章雖然沒(méi)有發(fā)表，但是和我申請(qǐng)的方向有密切的聯(lián)系，我認(rèn)為這就夠了。<strong><span style="color: #0086d1;">我在文書(shū)中其實(shí)也沒(méi)有提到這些文章是否發(fā)表之類(lèi)，只是寫(xiě)明白了我具備這些專(zhuān)業(yè)知識(shí)并將它們加以應(yīng)用。</span></strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h1><strong>&ldquo;漫長(zhǎng)煎熬的等待&rdquo;</strong></h1> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>申請(qǐng)過(guò)程中，等待是最煎熬的時(shí)刻。從遞交材料到收到第一封offer的時(shí)間很短，大概就半個(gè)月左右。當(dāng)?shù)谝环鈦?lái)自謝菲爾德大學(xué)的offer到來(lái)時(shí)，我的喜悅難以言表，這封offer也給我當(dāng)時(shí)學(xué)習(xí)雅思提供了很大的動(dòng)力。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>可是又過(guò)了半個(gè)月，我卻一封offer都沒(méi)有收到。老實(shí)說(shuō)這時(shí)我還是很焦慮的。謝菲爾德只是我的一個(gè)保底院校，<strong><span style="color: #0086d1;">當(dāng)時(shí)收到它的offer我還以為是開(kāi)門(mén)紅，現(xiàn)在卻成了唯一的選擇。</span></strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>在四月份面臨了巨大的時(shí)間壓力和心理挑戰(zhàn)，每天不僅要上雅思課，準(zhǔn)備二戰(zhàn)雅思，還得兼顧畢業(yè)論文的寫(xiě)作，可以說(shuō)，那是一段既充實(shí)又煎熬的日子。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><img style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" src="https://info.compassedu.hk/info_imgUrl_phpDVHY2t.jpg" alt="" /></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>剛開(kāi)始時(shí)，我常常覺(jué)得力不從心。每天白天上完課，回學(xué)校晚上我都會(huì)花一兩個(gè)小時(shí)去學(xué)校的湖邊自說(shuō)自話(huà)的練口語(yǔ)，再回宿舍撰寫(xiě)畢業(yè)論文；晚上躺在床上也常常在想這口語(yǔ)的題庫(kù)。雖然很累，但最終我還是堅(jiān)持了下來(lái)。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><span style="color: #0086d1;">又過(guò)了半個(gè)月，我每天晚上都不停的刷新郵箱，希望offer的到來(lái)，</span></strong>終于在一天凌晨，格拉斯哥給我發(fā)offer了。這是我第一封比較滿(mǎn)意的offer，畢竟是QS前百的院校，但我還是更想去利茲，我相信利茲的offer也快了。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>到了5月中，我收到了利茲和南安普頓的offer。此時(shí)我已經(jīng)很滿(mǎn)意了。除了沖刺的愛(ài)丁堡，其他學(xué)校的offer全部拿下，但是父母還是希望我趕緊考出較高的雅思成績(jī)補(bǔ)交給愛(ài)丁堡。很可惜在我把8.5（6）的成績(jī)補(bǔ)交給愛(ài)丁堡后，沒(méi)多久就收到了拒信。還是本科沒(méi)有提早準(zhǔn)備留學(xué)，績(jī)點(diǎn)太低了&hellip;...</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="color: #0086d1;"><strong>總而言之，能收到利茲的offer我覺(jué)得已經(jīng)很滿(mǎn)足了。</strong></span></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h1><strong>寫(xiě)在最后</strong></h1> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>這一年的申請(qǐng)旅程，總的看來(lái)還算順利。<span style="color: #0086d1;"><strong>從我真正打算留學(xué)到考完雅思收到unconditional offer僅僅過(guò)去了3個(gè)多月的時(shí)間。</strong></span>一開(kāi)始由于剛剛經(jīng)歷考研失敗，對(duì)自己極度缺乏自信心的我也會(huì)擔(dān)心會(huì)不會(huì)沒(méi)有學(xué)校要，畢竟看到很多往年收到offer的人的背景都比我好。<strong>但其實(shí)專(zhuān)業(yè)方向重合度高，再加上平均分績(jī)點(diǎn)達(dá)到學(xué)校的要求，還是有很大概率收到offer的。</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>中途還是有一些艱難險(xiǎn)阻。最令我感到困難的部分還是時(shí)間管理。畢業(yè)論文、雅思和申請(qǐng)同時(shí)進(jìn)行，讓我一度感到分身乏術(shù)；此外在等待offer的過(guò)程中也是焦慮和壓力感拉滿(mǎn)。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>其實(shí)反思下來(lái)，留學(xué)真的需要盡早準(zhǔn)備。<span style="color: #0086d1;"><strong>準(zhǔn)備的早甚至可以和考研、保研同時(shí)進(jìn)行，哪怕是在沒(méi)出成績(jī)之前做兩手準(zhǔn)備。</strong></span>像我這樣考研失敗后再準(zhǔn)備雖然來(lái)的及，但太趕了，我相信要是我能更早的準(zhǔn)備，能得到更好的結(jié)果。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><img style="display: block;
