</span> </span> <span class="card-operate active"> <span class="edit"> &nbsp; </span> <span class="content"> &nbsp; </span> </span> </span></strong></div> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>學土木就是&ldquo;四九年入國軍&rdquo;？</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&ldquo;打灰&rdquo;、&ldquo;搬磚&rdquo;、&ldquo;提桶跑路&rdquo;......</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>這些或許就是自己作為土木學生未來生活最真實的寫照，但每當想起，便常常有一個聲音在我腦海中回蕩：你真的甘心就此被困在工地打灰搬磚嗎？</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>不，我當然不愿意。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="color: #0086d1;">一個看似荒誕又很現實的選項出現在了我的面前：留學</span><span style="color: #0086d1;">讀研。</span></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h1><strong>debuff疊滿的土木逆風開局</strong></h1> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>高考結束后，三十多萬考生中九千多名進入了比我更好的平臺。我曾經有過那么一瞬間的迷茫，在這么多同齡人中，究竟要怎么做才能在四年后脫穎而出。是真的像他們所說的一考定終身嗎？</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>除此以外，我還選擇了一個所有人都不看好的專業(yè)&mdash;&mdash;土木工程，可謂是debuff疊滿。面對這樣的逆風開局，我該如何翻盤？</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><img style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" src="https://info.compassedu.hk/info_imgUrl_phpSFkZPd.jpg" alt="" width="312" height="234" /></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>剛進入大學，我便被網上關于土木的各種言論所洗腦&mdash;&mdash;前途一片黑暗。對此，我對畢業(yè)后的生活有了很大的焦慮。好在經過多方了解，得到了一個很難叫做好消息的好消息：工程施工單位比較愿意接受土木的學生。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>至少，以后多吃點苦還是可以有一份工作的。自此，同學們開始以&ldquo;打灰&rdquo;、&ldquo;搬磚&rdquo;、&ldquo;提桶跑路&rdquo;這些工地的詞匯相互開玩笑，雖說是玩笑，其實大家都知道，這也許就是自己作為土木的學生未來生活最真實的寫照。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><img style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" src="https://info.compassedu.hk/info_imgUrl_phpRNm9vS.jpg" alt="" width="432" height="324" /></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>但是，我還是有些不甘心，直到和輔導員的一次閑聊中，我第一次看到了不一樣的結局&mdash;&mdash;留學。對于那時的我來說，留學遙遠而又陌生，本該是小說里的富家子女的標配，而我既沒有雄厚的資金，也沒有那般家業(yè)等我鍍金回來繼承。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h1><strong>保研十拿九穩(wěn)后我動搖了</strong></h1> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>在考慮留學之前，其實我先想的是爭取保研。于是，我便按照往屆的經驗，一步一步參加各種競賽。大一那個寒假，我參加了成圖技術大賽。經過一個學期的準備，終于是不負眾望地在省賽和國賽中都斬獲不錯的成績。大一學年結束，我的功課也沒落下，<span style="color: #0086d1;">最終績點排名定格在了年級第十</span>。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><img style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" src="https://info.compassedu.hk/info_imgUrl_phppqVW3E.jpg" alt="" width="434" height="325" /></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>隨著大一學年基礎課程，諸如高數、大物的學習基本結束，基礎學科競賽也走進了我的視線。由于我大一學年的課內學習相當的扎實，而且作為江蘇考生對于高數和大學物理的基礎較好，這些學科的競賽對我來說，如果只是為了拿個獎項并不是很難。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><img style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" src="https://info.compassedu.hk/info_imgUrl_phpAxv5j0.jpg" alt="" width="272" height="363" /></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>最終我分別獲得了省一等獎和省二等獎。在這個階段，大二學年的學習也接近了尾聲，我的績點也依然保持在年級第十的位置。<span style="color: #0086d1;">這時候的保研二字對我來說，已不再陌生，如果不出意外，保研于我應該是十拿九穩(wěn)。</span></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>然而，大二學期結束時候的專業(yè)分流，讓我第一次對保研產生動搖。仔細研究完土木的四個專業(yè)方向，包括專業(yè)的研究內容、就業(yè)前景等方面之后，我才發(fā)現一直以來我都沉浸在逐步走向保研的喜悅當中，但是土木的困境卻一直都存在。保研之后，三年的研究生生涯可以破局嗎？</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>或許很難，至少從一直以來的招聘就業(yè)的宣傳以及最終的結果上來看，研究生和本科生的就業(yè)并沒有發(fā)生本質上的變化，變的只是待遇上稍有改善，&ldquo;打灰&rdquo;、&ldquo;搬磚&rdquo;、&ldquo;提桶跑路&rdquo;仍是難以擺脫。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>這時一個看似荒誕又很現實的選項出現在了我的面前：讀博。的確，在和很多老師的溝通中，我逐漸意識到博士與碩士本科有著質的區(qū)別。讀博該是突破土木學生困境的最有效途徑。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>但是，讀博二字看似輕描淡寫，實則背后藏著的是至少四五年的努力，<span style="color: #0086d1;">本科畢業(yè)后若是連著碩士的時間一起算，還要至少七八年，讀博談何容易！</span>就業(yè)本就一年難過一年，若再等上七八年，該是什么樣子沒人知道。在此期間我也了解到可以直博，的確直博的時間可以大大減少，但是這樣的風險太大，大到稍有變故，幾年的努力都要白費，我不敢賭。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><img style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" src="https://info.compassedu.hk/info_imgUrl_phppXH1U4.jpg" alt="" width="291" height="289" /></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>就在我左右為難之際，一個老師跟我提起了海外讀博的建議。終于，塵封已久的留學再次回到我的視線中。結合他的經驗，他幫我詳細比對了國內和國外的優(yōu)劣，如他所言國外的博士至少在畢業(yè)上相對容易，回國的工作也有一定的優(yōu)勢，那一刻終于有了一種撥云見日的感覺。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>同時我心中也萌發(fā)了一個大膽的想法，留學讀研。一方面留學讀研讀博的時間成本和國內直博一樣，但是風險要小很多，也更靈活，如是碩士畢業(yè)能找到合適的工作，也未必繼續(xù)讀博。<span style="color: #0086d1;">另一方面海外讀研可以更快的適應海外院校的節(jié)奏與習慣，若是最終留學讀博，申請或有幫助。</span>就這樣我在大三開學前徹底決定了放棄保研轉而留學。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h1><strong>當了一個月的實習施工員</strong></h1> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>為了準備申請留學，我還參加了不少實踐活動豐富自己的經歷，先是參加了很多大型的志愿者活動，后來又參加了很多學術活動和講座。作為隊長帶領隊伍參加了大學生創(chuàng)新創(chuàng)業(yè)訓練并成功拿到了國家級的評級。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><img style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" src="https://info.compassedu.hk/info_imgUrl_php5pPrat.jpg" alt="" width="334" height="445" /></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>我和老師以及學長深入了解之后，發(fā)現我在實習經歷這一部分仍可以完善。于是我在大三開學前的暑假和大四開學前的暑假分別進行了工地實習。其中大四開學前的這段實習經歷給我的感悟最為深刻。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="color: #0086d1;">這次為期一個月的實習，我在一個住宅項目總承包工程中擔任了實習施工員的角色。</span>實習期間，我全面參與了項目的施工管理，從施工的前期準備、現場施工協(xié)調到后期質量驗收等環(huán)節(jié)，積累了大量的現場經驗。這次實習不僅讓我加深了對建筑行業(yè)的了解，也讓我認識到一個項目建設中每個環(huán)節(jié)的復雜性和重要性。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><img style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" src="https://info.compassedu.hk/info_imgUrl_phpXHGqC8.jpg" alt="" width="267" height="370" /></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>首先，我認識到理論與實踐之間的差異。課堂上學到的知識只是基礎，真正的施工現場充滿了不確定性和挑戰(zhàn)，每一步都需要靈活應對。其次，我意識到團隊合作的重要性。一個大型工程項目的順利推進依賴于各個部門的密切配合和高效溝通。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>通過解決現場的各種問題，我對建筑施工的復雜性有了更清晰的認識，同時也意識到作為一名合格的施工管理人員，除了扎實的專業(yè)知識外，還需要具備應變能力和領導力。希望在未來的工作中，能將這次實習中的所學所感應用到實際項目中，持續(xù)提升自己的專業(yè)水平。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h1><strong>比起IC新國立更適合自己</strong></h1> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>說實話，從我接觸到指南者留學開始，我就和往屆戰(zhàn)績進行了比對，申請老師也告訴我申請的難度應該不是很大。但我還是比較擔心的，畢竟放棄保研資格意味著如果留學申請不是很順利的話，學業(yè)生涯可能就此結束。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><img style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" src="https://info.compassedu.hk/info_imgUrl_phpnP0wks.jpg" alt="" width="319" height="239" /></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>在申請院校的選擇上，我主觀上一直都是傾向去新加坡國立大學。不過，我的高中學校中有一塊關于帝國理工的宣傳牌子給我印象十分深刻，不知道是對名校的向往還是想要證明自己，總之我也報名了帝國理工，算是一種沖刺吧。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="color: #0086d1;">我沒想到帝國理工真的向我發(fā)來了offer。</span>我記得我收到offer的時候是在半夜，我剛要睡覺，突然帝國理工有一封郵件告訴我準備錄取我。說沒感覺肯定是假的，畢竟是世界級名校給我offer，當時我也很快就冷靜下來了，仔細思考之下，帝國理工其實并不適合我。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="color: #1890ff;">1. </span>一方面是英國的地區(qū)學費和日常開銷費用太大，多花近二十萬究竟是不是值得的；</p> <h2>&nbsp;</h2> <p><span style="color: #1890ff;">2. </span>另一方面是帝國理工申請的是巖土工程，一開始申請的時候是想著給自己多一個選擇，畢竟新加坡國立大學沒有巖土專業(yè)，我想了又想終究還是覺得結構或許更適合我。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>在帝國理工給我下達正式offer的時候，新加坡國立才剛剛提交申請沒多久。不過比起之前的忐忑與擔心，拿到了帝國理工的offer終究是讓我安心了不少。<span style="color: #0086d1;">又是半個月之后，終于收到了新加坡國立大學的正式offer，也算是意料之中。</span>至此，我的留學申請就告一段落了，拿到了我最心儀的學校offer，其他的就都放棄申請啦。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>說起在新國立和帝國理工之間的選擇，還有一個比較重要的因素就是我的雅思成績，眾所周知帝國理工給我們這種還沒畢業(yè)的同學一般都是有條件offer，而我的offer上除了拿到學位證以外，還有一條雅思成績的要求。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><img style="display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" src="https://info.compassedu.hk/info_imgUrl_phpdEOuti.jpg" alt="" width="386" height="289" /></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>說實話我對再考一次雅思能不能達到他的要求實在是沒有把握，之前為了準備留學申請，匆忙趕在換題季之前考了一場，也不知道是幸運還是不幸運，平均得分是6.125，最終的成績算是6.0分。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>幸運的是我匆匆忙忙準備的一個月剛好考到了勉強夠新國立的要求，不幸運的是就差那么一點就到6.5了。哎，考雅思真的讓人疲憊，只能說能不考就不考吧。當然，這只是選擇新國立的額外的一小點原因。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h1>END</h1> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>總的來說，由于我從大一開始是按照保研的標準要求自己的，所以整個大學期間過得較為充實，就從申請海外院校的各項要求上來說，每個方面都有一定基礎。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>中間有一些獲得的獎項和成果可能對留學申請并沒有什么幫助，但是我覺得放棄保研選擇留學是最適合我的選擇，并沒有可惜不可惜的說話，也不存在努力白費的想法，我認為每一段經歷都是對我的鍛煉，每一個成果都可以看作是對我能力的認可，能力與知識的價值不是僅僅體現在留學的申請上。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>最后，想對學弟學妹說：不要將留學當作考研、保研的退路，留學本就是其中的一種選擇，如果可以的話從一開始就嚴格要求自己，申請的時候會輕松不少，希望一年后能收到來自你們的喜訊。</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><em><strong>END</strong></em></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <div class="qrcode-content-wrapper" contenteditable="false"> <div style="position: absolute;
